The Organic Trade Association — Diversity Resource Library

The Organic Trade Association recently launched a Diversity Resource Library to provide trade association members and the organic community at large with resources to diversify their content, conferences, supply chains, and marketing efforts. As the Director of Communications and Marketing, I led the web build for the library from conception to execution and promotion. You can view the resource library here.

The Organic Center — Milk Study

In a recent project for The Organic Center, I produced the written copy for a microsite promoting the benefits of organic milk. The Organic Center launched the site in conjunction with the release of a peer-reviewed study on the differences between organic and conventional milk. I was responsible for crafting the entirety of the web content, which served as the primary asset in the consumer marketing efforts around the study. My work included writing the website’s content, headlines, graphic copy, and social media share language. In addition to the copy development, I advised TOC on the site structure and layout and the social media marketing efforts for the launch of the site. You can find the website in its entirety here.

The Environmental Working Group — Healthy Living: Home Guide

While working as the internal Digital Marketing Manager at the Environmental Working Group, I was the project manager for the creation and launch of EWG’s Healthy Living: Home Guide. The Healthy Living: Home Guide is a comprehensive online resource outlining the chemicals and hazards found in your home and how to avoid them. The site houses 21 distinct guides on the potentially toxic materials found in your home, ranging from cleaning products to insulation to furniture.

As the project manager, I ensured the website was launched on time and within budget. I was the main point of contact with the web development firm. My work with the web firm included selecting the firm based on submitted proposals, ensuring all deliverables were met on time, coordinating with the internal EWG team, and being the final approval for all decisions made about the site structure and design. I worked with EWG scientists to develop the entirety of the site content. I ensured the content was easily accessible to consumers, wrote headlines, summaries, and share language for the site, and developed the inbound marketing and social media strategy to promote the website. You can find EWG’s Healthy Living: Home Guide here.
